roller coaster week.
thursday. went to the newly (not so new) renovated hawker centre in Chinatown.
mommy used to bring me there for lunch when i was younger (like 7 or 8) before/after i visit my dad at work..
i wonder if they did an extension cos i don remember it was this huge. i tink there was abt
200 stalls? i m not good with
agar-ation. its just hugeSo ya.
i saw people eating the famous Fish Head Bee Hoon served in a huge green bowl. but just couldnt find the stall. DAMN
but fortunately! we had something even nicer for dinner!!!
CLAYPOT RICE!!!SGD 8 for a 2-person portion was value for money, but hardly enuff for 2 hungry people.
reminds me of the super nice one we had at KL few months ago! we found a substitution!
YAY!
there was a notice on the stall saying that waiting time is
20 - 30 mins for non peak hour, and
up to 90 for peak hours. so reservation through phone is encouraged.
we went there was abt 7.. hardly a lot of people, but we waited for 30 mins or so. so hungry tt we gobble up the rice in no time and forget to take pictures!
doesnt matter, always a next time!!
damn happy cos we had Koi's Bubble Tea after that. Its the only bb milk tea i swear by now in SG. damn good. But i remmeber the one in Taiwan (Frog Lay Eggs) was better??
although contented from food, i didnt sleep well that night.

Fri
Another round of pigging!!
BOO!
Thomas (my finance manager) brought me, Irene and Clarisse to
Tony Romas!introduced them the
Chocolate Skillet Cookie and they love it sooooooo much and thank me for the good recommendation. glad they love it! it still tasted quite the same as i ate with Mery and Stella 6 yrs (?) ago.. :)
apart from being my lovely colleagues and boss, they are nice friends too. they lent me a listening ear when i shared with them abt wat happened the night before. their advices, although not totally applicable to un-married me, it was somewhat useful. :)
Headed to O bar for its
20th Anniversary party after that. According to FB events, they were expecting full house by 11 pm..reached there at 11.30.. not at all full.
so, there was Ben and i met a few new people.. nice and fun people who chatted me up when he was playing pool.
and this nice guy who offered me his the nice popcorns! popcorns in club, my first try.
cabbed home with ben's friend Chester and his room mate who stayed in Hougang.
simple & enjoyable night. :)

havent met hanzi for the longest time EVER. Royal Copahagen was the place i chose for a nice sat afternoon tea :)
went shopping at taka. fancy a wallet from Dior and Gucci. The one at
Dior is in my fav patent red, but the local price is abt the same as LV if bought from Paris :( still thinking if i should get. SIGH.
Hanzi bought a bracelet from
Tiffany! NICEEEEEE.
Parted at 6 odd cos i needed to head to Suntec for dinner.
Was resting at Suntec Bus stop with him cos i was tired from the shopping and the bus ride.
he told me bestie Gwen didnt reply his sms with regards to his insurance policy. so i said, thats because she have changed her no.
he then updated his phonebook w the new no. and sms her. her response was almost instant. exchanged a few smses while still sitting at the bus stop.
then suddenly i saw this girl alighting from a bus and ran towards us like a mad woman while screaming my name.
HAHAH. Guess what. Its
GWEN.Isnt it like eerily coincidental!? OMG.
HAHA. She seems happy to see me, so am I!
havent seen her for ages. both so busy :(
we took some photos using her lao pok camera to remember this day! haha. but as expected, she havent upload till now. LOL.
