CEO asked HR to get me a bday cake. Hee. so nice of him. So we had a mini celebration. I wanted it to be low profile (cos Finance peeps are usually Low profile) so we hid at one corner for the session. :)

My 1st Bday cake.
Rushed down to meet Hanzi, Gwenie and Gracie for dinner at Ma Maison. Regretted not sticking to my hamburger steak. The seafood gratin was so-so. Gwen's soba salad was yummy tho. Am glad the girls liked the place :)
2nd Bday cake, complimentary from MM. Second bday song!
Baby collaborated with Hanzi and appeared at the restaurant! No wonder he told me he couldnt picked me up!
i thought the surprise was supposed to be on the next day (sat). so i didnt expect him at all.
well, i must say he did well. cos i was really surprised. thx baby. And yea, as u can see, he appeared with my 3rd bday cake from Canele. Had to bring it somewhere to cut the cake cos was really full.
Mer & Ling came to crash the dinner cos they NEEDED to see me badly. so sweettt... altho i was very full, but the 2 girls and doink haven had their dinner yet. and so we headed to............. 126 at Geylang for Dim Sum! ( i didnt eat of cos)
The usual yummy stuff.
And so we decided to had my 3 bday cake here. Coincidentally there was another bday girl at the other table and they brought they own cake too. I find it amusing myself, to have a bday celebration at a Kopitiam along...... Geylang.. mm..
23rd!! I believe i am still young!
Making my .. erm.. 3rd wish..
Sigh. and i looked fugly w the cold sore that came to "visit" again. stress is the main reason.
we stayed till 2 am and headed home.. not expecting anything big the next day, i asked him if i could meet him later the next day cos i really needed some rest. But he insisted that i have to meet him at 2 pm. :(

i dragged my tired body out of bed and tried to think about what i should wear for the clubbing session tonight. He refused to tell me the plan for the day still, but only told me i would be with him until Sunday late afternoon. Hmm..
Met him at Raffles City. He couldnt blindfold me cos i had my makeup on, so he asked me to close my eyes while walking to the destination, which i refused. HAHA. . i kept asking him what was going on, he only told me he was bringing me to eat.
my 1st tot was, i really didnt feel like going cos i have been feasting ALOT for my bday and i really don want waste money for buffet when i don even have a hearty appetite.
So he took me to the lift at Swissotel, and pressed level 55. So i know it couldnt be a restaurant.
And indeed it was a HUGE surprise. He opened the door of one of the rooms after a long long walk along the corridor and the first thing i saw was balloons, all over the flr. so immediately i knew what was going on. and i expected my gfs right away.
HAHA. and i was right! i saw
stelly, mery & ling!! aawwwwwwww.. they are
ALL SO SWEET. that means they have wake up earlier than me to be here early to help with the deco! And i found out that they planned this a lonnggg time ago.. even when ling was activiated for a flight, she didnt dare to tell me about it, in case i would be upset that she couldnt meet me for dinner.. <3>

HAHA, and this girl tried to upset me lo. she didnt wish me the whole day.. until 12 am then she said, she couldnt be the first, so she wanted to be the last. But the idea was to get me upset first. HAHA.. wa lau.. i really tot i m not impt to her liao.... :(

After Ling left for her flight.... we.....
..... went shopping for a few hours and headed to Cafe Iguana as planned!

The girls convinced me to stay put at the hotel and cancel the clubbing session at Dbl O that night, in order not to waste the room. i obliged, but i felt really bad towards those i have invited.... especially ben who pulled strings to get me the table :(
Stella couldnt stay cos Alvin needed her more than i do. so there was only Mery and me left. We took some pics of the night scene from the 55th. It was quite a view. unforgettable. Never felt Singapore was so beautiful.
My fav night spots were all beneath my feet.
i doubt i will have much chances to stay in a suite in my life. lol. so it was quite cool to stay in one!
Ling came back at around 11 odd. So we played some drinking games with Alvin, Alan, Doink, Mery and Jesse who joined us much later.
Forget to take photos again!!! Didnt take photos with Alvin and Alan and i felt reallllllllly bad..:(
The group left at abt 3 am.. and i have to force baby to take a few more photos before he sleeps. he had quite a bit to drink. so he was barely awake.

The next morning........
we have to wake up to go for the buffet breakfast..
The spread wasnt too bad.. but baby couldnt eat much cos of the hangover.. i had a good one tho. HAHA.
After which we went back to sleep somemore and check out at 4 pm.
Due to some mistakes made by the hotel.. we were compensated with free drinks at the Lobby Bar before we head home for steamboat w my parents.
So this marks the end of an memorable 23rd bday. :)
