sigh. the long weekend have ended.

it wasnt too bad, except for the quarrel on sat night. sigh.

went to Fabulous Sunday w "the gang". And boy, it was super crowded.

Was with Daniel, Kailin, Jem, Felix, Joseph, Clement, Kenneth, Kenny, Wenjie, Dunk, Xiaogou, Junxiong, Marvin, Tim & somemore whom i dunno. wahah..

Daniel was saying that if there is a bomb, 90% of the AJ population in Singapore will be wiped out. LOL. true enough.

The Q was super long and i had to pay $25 for the entrance. sigh. $$$ again.

Music wasnt as nice as i remembered it to be. But it was good seeing all of them again. =)

o, also met gwenie there, she was there w her friends too. a pleasant surprise.

nothing interesting. except those hot bods on the podium. really really hot.

Went home at 2.30 am with Kaelyn and Daniel. Kaelyn was so tired that she knocked out on the cab.

Awaken by Eric's call this morning, couldnt go back to slp after that.

Was supposed to meet mery 630 at Bugis, she said she wanted to bring me to find out nice and cheap stuff. She then sms me at 5 odd saying she will be there at 645.

But guess wat time she reach?

7.25 pm.. thats like 30 mins late.... -_-

at least i managed to buy some stocks for my ebay..

for those who dunno, i actually have a ebay account and its for selling my old clothes. WAHHA..

sales wasnt too bad recently. i hit 200 bucks for 2 weeks (considering high since i m selling old clothes) so i tot of bringing in some new clothes for sale!

We shall see hw it goes. :)

of cos it had to rain. i mean, thats usually wat happens when i plan for tanning at Sentosa right?

I m not the least surprised.

Plan was cancelled (again) due to rain. sigh. To think i purposely took leave to go tanning (to avoid weekend crowds).

sigh. But well. i was happy enuff, because i spend the whole day with baby. SHOPPING.

o before i forget, i got my increment already!! i didnt expect my HR to be efficient enuff to include it in this month's salary. WAHAHAH.. and its a 6% increment.. woohoo.. i heard market rate was only 4.9 %

so of cos with my increment and my reimbursement of OT cab fares, i m a bit richer. And when i feel rich, i splurge. WAHAHA..

so we went SHOPPING.. didnt buy alot. but i bought a pair of zipper heels which i really love. =D and some nice nice accessories from DIVA, which adds up to almost 50 bucks..

we went from VIVO to Marina then to Suntec..and end the day with a stupid movie.

wanted to watch SAW 5, but the next slot was at 11.50 pm. was really tired. so we watched the Butterfly Lovers instead. WAHAHAH..

i know, stop laughing at us. We were just desperate to watch a movie. any movie.

O and can someone pls pls remind me not to go watch The Coffin.. i surely will have prob sleeping for at least a week.. =(

P/s: i m addicted to the Japanese Pocky, i ate 50 sticks ytd by myself until i got indigestion. =X

received news this morning that i MAY be spending this year's xmas in Hokkaido. But plan is not confirm cos its too last minute, my aunt is having problem booking the air ticket..

half of me is like so excited~ cos i finally fulfilled my dream of spending my xmas overseas, another part of me is dreading to go, cos its so so so so expensive..

so i shall leave it to fate. =D

i m getting my notification letter tomorrow, regarding my increment. YAY-ness. cant wait. i heard from my boss that it is a "sexy" increment, satisfaction guaranteed. wahah.. more than market rate of 3%.

i m contemplating on wat to do with the extra $.

i wanna buy e girls dinner again.
i wan to buy shoes
i want to pay all my oustanding bills.
i want to get a "decent" wallet.

with so many things in mind, i don think the increment can cover them all. LOL. lets wait for bonus then! :)

you are only available on your scheduled off days (fine. since its wrk, i can shut up)

Funny thing is that on days when u needed to do ur own things, u can take leave without hesistation.

is there ever a day, u just feel like taking leave to spend time with me??

trust me, i tried very very hard to be an understanding gf.

But u have no idea. no farking idea how hard it is.

zzz. monday blues. i m typing this cos my internal netwrk is DOWN. i cant work.

ARGH.

i have to OT OT OT again. its torturous, especially its only the start of the week. my partner and i are thinking of finsihing everything by this week so we will be free next week!!!

I really really need a good break. In extreme stress now.($)@!*#(!@*#!@

Sigh. Waiting for my boss to declare my increment and bonus. CEO said it will be a "sexy" bonus. which i doubt.

As some of u have already know, i have open an account with BBDC with Jiahui and i will be starting my first lesson this week. Cant wait! My goal is to get my license before gwen does. LOL. kidding. I dont think i can do better than her also. :(:(

i panic even as a passenger on express way. -.-

But i really want to try. shall go slow. :) Wish me luck!

01102008 - Hari Raya Dinner with Babies & Mambo

Dinner at Ding Tai Feng with Mammie, Eric, Lawry, Jem & Daniel. Haven had a decent meet up with them like this for quite some time. Was good to see them all!

Loitered around taka after dinner before heading over to Zouk to meet the girls.

Was supposed to meet at 930, i reached at 9.35 and ended up waiting alone at Grand Copthorne for almost 45 minutes. Mery only called at 9.45 saying that she just left perry's place..

it was my first time waiting alone outside zouk for so long can. + the drizzle, made me really moody. :(

Chilled at Wine Bar while waiting for Princess Ling. She just came back from Paris and bought us these:

Yummy Macaroons. Its sooo nice. I love the dark chocolate flavoured one. We didnt want to bring in the box so Mery and I had to gobble down the whole box in a few minutes.

I like this photo best! Sweet. thanks to my new contact lenses! Ling wont like it obviosuly, cos shes red from her Chivas.

27092008 - St James.

Was so tired the entire week, so i didnt join the guys for dinner at Sun with Moon.

Perry was the first to reach. Cos he came straight frm wrk. LOL. He had a beer at St james first before i met him and Mery.

As it was still early, we went to Food Republic for dinner.

Nice Ngoh Hia Dumpling at Food Republic. Unlike normal dumpling, this is fried. So the outside is crispy.

This kinda Love is getting Expensive

All the above is wat i have got myself online for the past 1 week, excluding those that is meant for resale. Some are really cheap, $10 (like the 3rd dress).. The desire to buy is so uncontrollable.

Now i even dragged my best friend with me. She just ordered 70USD worth of accessories online.

I think i am ill. I m suffering from Compulsive Shopping Disorder or Oniomania.

Oniomania is a medical term for the compulsive desire to shop, more commonly referred to as shopping addiction or shopaholism. Quoted from Wikipedia.

Symptoms

Similar to other compulsive behaviors, sufferers often experience the highs and lows associated with addiction. Victims often experience moods of satisfaction when they are in the process of purchasing, which seems to give their life meaning while letting them forget about their sorrows.

Once leaving the environment where the purchasing occurred, the feeling of a personal reward has already gone. To compensate, the addicted person goes shopping again.

Eventually a feeling of suppression will overcome the person.

Causes

The addicted person gets into a vicious circle that consists of negative emotions like anger and stress, which lead to purchasing something. After the buying is over, the person is either regretful or depressed. In order to cope with the feelings, the addicted person resorts to another purchase.

What differentiates oniomania from healthy shopping is the compulsive, destructive nature of the buying.

Right. I have finally gotten my ass down in front of my computer desk. i m ready to blog the next 1 hr away.

today is sat night, and i feel so nice to be staying at home.. so nice. (think The House Bunny).

25092008 - Steamboat @ Ling's new place.

Initial plan was to head to the Lantern Fest thingy at Chinese Garden, but feel its a bit cock since Mid autumn fest is already over and we have some guys with us so we decided not to do something so girly. I suggested steamboat at Ling's new apartment, tot that might be cosy and saves us the trouble of thinking of activities.

Had a really wonderful spread with stuff like the baobeis, beef, fresh scallops etc etc.

Thanks to ling and her family for being sucha good host!

Dinner started late cos Alvin and Stella had to clear some wrk first. The rest of us just hang around the apartment while waiting.

Its a pretty dumb game, but quite fun for dumb pple like yours truly. Stella was very excited over the game too. While Mery, Doink, Simon and Ling's mom was hogging the mahjong table. LOL.

I swear that it was NOT meant to be a celebration for Doink's bday. It so happens that all of us are free for dinner on the eve of his bday, thus the girls insisted we have to do smthing for him. how sweet. :)

We were hiding in the dark while the other guys brought him out for a smoke. But damn him for lighting a second stick when the candles were already lit!! i havent held a bday cake for so long in my 23 years.

Stella was helping me "kua zui" cos shes tall enough to see the door hole, while weiling was the photographer.

Finally Ling was smart enuff to came up with a plan to ask the guys to come in. She opened the door and shouted that there was a power trip. LOL.

He fell for ling's trick and realyl went to check out the light box. LOL.

The surprise was 100% success!

Very yummy Mocha cake from NYDC. Mery went ALL THE WAY to HV to get it on my behalf. Love love her.
